Thanks to all our patrons who virtually attended our first webinar! For those of you who were unable to join us, you can view a recording of the full event here:
Original event description: Master Players director Xiang Gao will have an in-depth conversation with Zlatomir Fung, American cello virtuoso and winner of the latest Tchaikovsky International Competition. They will talk about how Zlatomir’s career started, his experience competing in Moscow, and his challenges as a soloist during this pandemic. The world-renowned cello pedagogue Richard Aaron from the Juilliard School and the University of Michigan will also appear during this BPO event to share his view as the master teacher behind Mr. Fung’s extensive Tchaikovsky competition preparation, which is comparable to Olympic training for athletes. Additionally, Mr. Fung will also perform live for our audience from his living room. Read Zlatomir's full bio here!
