Parking and Directions

General Public parking is recommended in the CFA Parking Garage between South Main (Elkton Road) and Amstel Avenue.

The parking charge for the CFA Parking Garage is $2 per hour or part thereof, with a maximum charge of $10. The CFA Parking Garage accepts cash and credit cards.

Metered spaces on South College, Kent Way and Amstel Avenue are also an option for parking at the cost of $1.25 an hour (paid by quarters or credit card).

Center for the Arts Garage

• Route 896 North becomes South College Avenue at the intersection of Route 4.

• Continue straight on South College Avenue for approximately two miles.

• Continue going straight through the intersection of South College Avenue and Park Place.

• At the intersection of South College Avenue and Kent Way, turn left.

• Turn right onto Orchard Road.

• Turn left onto Amstel Avenue.

• Turn left into the Center for the Arts Parking Garage.

When walking out of the Center for the Arts Parking Garage, follow the brick pathway to the opposite end of the building (pass North Entrance doors) to the double doors labeled Roselle Center for the Arts to your right. Once you have entered through the double doors, past the ticketing booth, Gore recital hall will be directly on your right.

From The North

Take I-95 South to Exit 1B (Newark- University of Delaware), which is Route 896 North. Follow Route 896 north into Newark, where it becomes S. College Avenue. Follow S. College northbound.

From The South

Take Route 13 North to the Route 1 Bypass. Follow Route 1 North and exit at Route 896. Follow for a few miles, go over the railroad tracks and make a right at the traffic light, following signs for Route 896 North. Follow for several miles, crossing the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, then Route 40 and I-95. Follow Route 896 north into Newark, where it becomes S. College Avenue northbound.

From The West

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to Route 283 South. Continue on Route 283 South, which becomes Route 30 East outside of Lancaster, to Route 896 South. As you reach campus and cross the railroad tracks, immediately turn left onto Delaware Avenue and right (at the second traffic light) onto South College Avenue. Continue north on South College Avenue.
